Davida Cruthird is a soaring leader with a track record of dedication to young people and her community. With her feet planted firmly in the belief that providing workforce development to the next generation for today's companies is a winning solution for the community, Davida is ready to seize opportunities to contribute to the growth and expansion of Memphis overall.
A proud product of Memphis City Schools, Davida attended Caldwell Elementary and Manassas High School, and graduated
from Westwood where she ranked 5th in a senior class of 300 plus students. In 1994, she became the first one in her family to attend and complete college; receiving a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and she is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Administration at the University of Memphis.
Davida's desire to help and motivate people ultimately determined what path she would take in life. Following her college career and the completion of several internships related to government and public policy, Davida immediately came home and began to direct her energies to serving the people of Memphis. She volunteered for many projects including: Christmas in April, Southern Heritage Youth Conference, and Leadership Orange Mound and Goals for Memphis, and completed several leadership development programs. Currently, Davida works as the Workforce Development Manager for Bridges U.S.A, in Memphis, TN.
