Change Memphis / Community Voting Project
Posted August 14th, 2008 by tarrinNew Path has partnered with the Mid-South Peace & Justice Center and Concerned Memphians United to form a coalition in an effort called Change Memphis. Change Memphis is committed to addressing and improving issues that affect the quality of life of Memphis & Shelby County residents by providing services in voter education and citizen advocacy. The coalition's first initiative is a Community Voting Project (CVP) that will seek to increase voter participation and turn-out, and educate residents on the proposed amendments to the city Charter put forth by the Memphis Charter Commission.
